Our first project in Grad Studio I is to either design a poster or make a video piece that is a “self-portrait.” To get us moving along, we had to make a bunch of lists organized in certain ways to represent our lives thus far. Mine:
Yes, that tear in the bottom right is labeled, “my soul.” I really hope no one thought I was serious about that… Anyway, the whole point of mine was to yet again not take anything seriously. But now I must decide which list out of the following will steer my actual piece:

In other news, I found a sitar teacher (!) and I have a paper due tomorrow. Also, I LOVE my classes and my school.
