UT may have a lot of special things about it (which I could not name because I never learned what they were), but the most special at this moment might be President Powers’ Twitter account authored by an anonymous student.
Both the Austin Chronicle and the independent blog Student Activism published articles today about the account and the interaction with its counterpart–a fake account for Georgetown University’s president, Jack DeGoia.
If people really want to reveal the identity of the Twittering Powers, my first suggestion as a Twitter sleuth would be to check the followers and the followed. But then again, I’ve never even been to a UT football game–What do I know?
