-Not having a lighter/matches to light candles in your room.
-Rented DVDs that are held hostage because you don’t have time to return them.
-Feeling like you have to submit a resume to participate in any life function.
-(Patriarchy).
-College classes.
-A broken typewriter that can definitely be fixed, but you just can’t figure out how.
-”Seven months from now…”
-”Ending a night with Whataburger and nothing…” -Marissa DeLisle
-Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas.
-Standards, expectations, stereotypes, mind-filtering, shopping for the self…
-An individualism that cannot exceed the skin.
