Motivation? –Is that you?

I woke up this morning with motivation. Something tells me it was the NyQuil I took last night. I don’t think I have ever not gotten sick around finals. I don’t understand why I don’t own an immune system.
Despite that, I’m excited about what I am working on now. The problem is that the people who need to tell me the story so that I can compile, interpret and be journalism-y seem to all be at a “workshop.” Whether it’s the same workshop or not, I don’t know– But if it is, and I were there, it would be a gold mine of integrity!
It’s too bad school gets in the way of all of this. Ironically, the story I am pursuing is about people going back to school instead of joining a depressing workforce. I was my own inspiration. And here I am bitching about school.
I posted this video on the Daily Texan blog site yesterday (which might R.I.P. after this semester).
No matter how I feel about anything political –left or right, or ambidextrous– I’m glad that the apathy of the early 2000s has faded. I was wondering if anyone cared about anything anymore.
