The right to video

I keep telling myself the next “coming” will be through the Web. At least, that’s what I’ve been hoping. There are sure signs of it, but if women aren’t getting on the Web, then the coming will come to no one.

I heard about SheZoom.com and it gave me a little hope and a little more proof that there are other women out there with some multimedia skills, whose male-confined back-scratchers haven’t been reaching that itch.

While still in beta mode, the site already has lots of users… I’m one of them. Honestly, I can’t wait to upload a video, because I am a huge woman-adoring nerd. To join in on a YouTube-type network for the better of womankind? Shit. It almost makes the world an okay place (just okay).

I think my favorite part was, on the account questions, when it asked for gender—one of the options was, “Do not identify with gender.” Hell yes I clicked it. It even had “pansexual” as a sexual orientation option!
