Tomorrow marks SafePlace’s 21st walk to honor the survivors of domestic violence and sexual abuse.
This is to raise money for those who need it–for mothers who need a place to stay with their children that is protected, for rape victims’ hospital exams–these things matter to the community and more so to the survivor.
The walk will take place in Waterloo Park tomorrow morning. Registration begins at 930 AM, and the walk begins promptly at 11 AM. The route is approximately 2.2 miles.
And it’s worth every step.
